It’s Always the Season for Giving at Noble’s Pond
Residents of active adult community raise thousands for MS
For many, the holidays are a time to reach out to those in need. At Noble’s Pond in Dover, Delaware’s premier residential community for active adults, the giving goes on all year long.
Recently, residents turned over a check for $16,519, money they raised at the “Girls Night Out To Fight MS, Designer Pocketbook Bingo in The Point, the ballroom of the Noble’s Pond Clubhouse. Every year, Noble’s Pond residents, raise awareness and funds for multiple sclerosis. The cause is near to the community’s heart. Several years ago, the daughter of Lifestyle Director Colleen Ostafy was diagnosed with MS and Noble’s Pond residents got behind the cause in a big way. Their efforts have yielded more than $100,000. (And Colleen’s daughter is doing great, by the way!).
“Whether it’s fundraising for MS, cooking for residents of a local shelter, or collecting toys for kids in need, our residents and staff give generously of themselves,” says Colleen. “They’re always coming up with new ways to engage with the community. It’s part of what makes Noble’s Pond such a wonderful place to live and work.”
Giving back is just one aspect of the fun, rewarding lifestyle at Noble’s Pond, located on 300 acres of former farmland minutes from downtown Dover. Our resort-style fitness center is housed in a 35,000-square-foot clubhouse, which also boasts a library, computer center, game rooms and an elegant ballroom. Summer fun at the outdoor pool is anticipated all year long; happy hour on the pool deck is one of our most popular traditions.
The low-maintenance homes of Noble’s Pond feature open designs, sleek kitchens and plenty of room for hobbies and grandkids. We recently introduced several new floor plans, all with the latest security and smart-home features.
With home maintenance and landscaping provided, Noble’s Pond residents have time to enjoy the many parties, clubs, and cultural events. Colleen leads popular group outings, from dining at some of Dover’s most popular restaurants to exciting trips within the U.S. and beyond.
The best way to experience this award-winning community is to come for a visit. When you do, be sure to stop by our expanded Welcome Center and all-new Design Center. Professional design consultants help residents choose the appliances, finishes and flooring that complete their home.
Congratulations to residents on the money raised for MS … and here’s to the giving spirit of Noble’s Pond!
