On Saturday, November 4, Noble’s Pond, the premier active lifestyle community in Dover, Delaware, hosted its annual “Girls’ Night Out” fundraiser benefiting the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

More than 200 guests attended the elegant event in Noble’s Pond ballroom, and enjoyed a spirited evening of fundraising, including Designer Pocketbook Bingo, a silent auction with outstanding items donated by many Dover-area restaurants and shops – and even a Hawaii vacation valued at more than $4,000. Guests enjoyed a variety of dishes, donated by several food donors, danced, and sipped Martini’s.

“Since we first started our ‘fun-raising’ for MS in 2011, we have raised more than $80,000,” says “Girls’ Night Out” organizer and Lifestyle Director extraordinaire for Noble’s Pond, Colleen Ostafy. “Our “Girls’ Night Out” would not be possible without our incredible team of volunteers, mostly residents and employees at Noble’s Pond, who start planning the details of the event early every year, while our media sponsor, the Dover Post, helps promote the fundraiser throughout the region.”

The event, open to both residents and the general public, is one of the main fundraisers for the Greater Delaware Valley chapter of the National MS Society, and just one of many special activities taking place at Noble’s Pond year-round.

“When you live here, your social calendar will be the envy of all your friends. There’s always something going on, from playing cards to aerobics, dancing, a Holiday party, a Luau, different day trips or even river boat cruises and vacation get-aways,” notes Ostafy. “At Noble’s Pond, we love to have fun every day of the year – and if we can tie that to doing good, so much the better!”
