2015 Family Fun Day

July 18, 2015 – Families came out for some old fashioned fun. We served up hot dogs, popcorn, and SnoKones, along with some classic games for the kids. There were sack races, water balloon tosses, three legged races and hula hoop contests!

We looked in Pennsylvania and didn’t find anything. We looked all over Delaware too, but kept coming back to Noble’s Pond.  This is now our home and the best thing they ever did was to build the clubhouse first.

There’s always something to do here. In the past, we always took about 2-3 vacations a year, that usually included a cruise. But with everything here, there’s no need for us to plan a vacation, we feel like we are on vacation all year.

We met so many friends right off the bat. (Tom) I like the pool, getting together with other veterans and other woodworkers.  (Sheri) The Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre was a Hoot!

We’ve enjoyed every minute of it and we’re looking forward to spending the rest of our lives here.

I purchased the Fairfield model and my favorite feature is the kitchen. It has so many cabinets, I just love it! I also added a four seasons room and hardwood floors.

Saving money is important to me. In New Jersey my taxes were over $10,000 a year. At Noble’s Pond they are going to be around $1,200.  There is so much more I can do with that extra money!

Five years ago when I found Noble’s Pond online, I fell in love with the community. The houses were great and have front porches. Noble’s Pond is a community where folks love and care for each other.  I can even have my own area in the community garden to grow vegetables. I felt such a great sense of community. I felt the love! Everyone always made me feel very welcome when I came to visit.   I got more than just a home here at Noble’s Pond, I got a community!

Mary from River Edge, NJ

The homes here at Noble’s Pond are affordable and the floorplans are great, we fell in love with the community and the people. The money that we were paying in taxes in New Jersey, we can now spend on the fun things like traveling and dining out.

Coffee with Colleen each month is quite informative. You get to meet the other residents, and if you are a newbie, everyone makes you feel comfortable right away. The Noble’s Pond Clubhouse is a great place to get to know your neighbors and get the info on the activities and parties coming up.

Joan from Edison, NJ

We first came to Noble’s Pond with my brother & sister-in-law.  They built their home first, but we loved the area, the homes and the savings on our taxes is a bonus!

Retirement in New Jersey is impossible due to high taxes. Coming down to Delaware with their tax advantages, we can enjoy the things we love to do.

Cooking for the Pot Luck Dinners is one of our favorite activities.  We love to cook and we have plenty of chances to cook for all the events and parties.  Enjoying activities with people with similar interests is what we enjoy the most.

Angie & Pete from Lyndhurst, NJ

We looked at many, many communities from Pennsylvania to New York, but I loved the clubhouse with all its amenities and the open floorplans of the homes kept us coming back to Noble’s Pond.

We love our new home. My husband is a wonderful woodworker and uses half of the garage, and I use the second bedroom as my sewing studio. He makes sawdust and I make threads, we meet for lunch and say we love each other. That’s how a long  marriage works!

Mary from Kennedyville, MD

Moving from New Jersey to Delaware has saved me thousands of dollars in real estate taxes. I absolutely love saving money!  I found what I was looking for in Noble’s Pond, low taxes, beautiful home, and friendly people.

I was able to customize my home, with a loft and sunroom, it was more than just a cookie cutter house like all the other communities. I created an office in the loft and there’s room for my grandchildren to hang out up there too.

The staff was very helpful, from picking out a home site to selecting features in my home, it was an easy process.

Reggie from Piscataway, NJ

We saved a lot of money in taxes coming from New York. Using that extra money we are able to take more vacations, more trips and spend more time together.

The Fairfield model worked best for us.  One of the best things about Noble’s Pond, compared to other communities, is that they worked with us on changes to the floorplan. That ability to customize was very important to us, Brian our sales consultant made it so easy. I love my “man cave”, it gives me my space (Bill).

We love the pool, no maintenance, just come up and enjoy.

Donna & Bill from Poughkeepsie, NY

I found Noble’s Pond searching online for 55+ communities. We came down for an Open House and fell in love with the homes. Residents were so helpful. At the Parade of Homes, a resident even pulled out her utility bills and showed us what she was paying. That sealed the deal for us!

We bought the three bedroom Fairfield. The kitchen is my favorite room, but we love to sit on the porch and talk to neighbors as they go by too.  Some of the other communities that we looked at, there wasn’t an opportunity to change anything. Here at Noble’s Pond, we customized our home by making it the size we wanted, and we just love our home!

This is such a different lifestyle to what we were accustomed to. We have lots of fun and laugh a lot – we’re so glad we’re here!

Marie & Ernie from Levittown, NY

We saw the ad in the paper and took a ride down.  As soon as we saw the clubhouse we thought it was absolutely magnificent. Even the ladies room is gorgeous!  Then we toured the homes and fell in love with them as well.  The builder helped us customize our kitchen, making it bigger and adjusted wall lengths throughout to accommodate our furniture.  We even added a four season room.

Throughout the sales process, Brian, our Housing Consultant, was excellent.  No high pressure sales, he was just very helpful and answered all our questions.

We love living here and participating in all the events.  It doesn’t seem as though there are enough hours in the day to do it all!

Pat & Jack from Marlton, NJ

We looked for five years before moving to Noble’s Pond.   The clubhouse was very inviting, in fact, Colleen was holding a meeting with residents and stopped to welcome us. She invited us in for coffee and tea. We immediately felt welcomed.  The staff here is wonderful and Brian went above and beyond.

We now have a wonderful home here at Noble’s Pond.  From the time we first saw the Fairfield model to the time we moved in, we have been very happy.  Noble’s Pond offered everything we were looking for.
