We are pleased to announce that Noble’s Pond, the Premier 55+ Community in Dover, will be hosting a one-of-a-kind benefit to raise funds for the Delaware Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Themed “Girls Night Out To Fight MS”, this event will take place on the evening of Saturday, September 21, 2013, in the spectacular ballroom at the clubhouse at Noble’s Pond. Last year, with the help of generous sponsors, this effort raised over $10,500 for the MS Society and we look forward to exceeding that amount this year. The evening will be a fun-filled event with heavy hors d’ouevres, silent auction, music, fashion show, shopping opportunities, and much more. Music and entertainment is being sponsored by “DJ DEE VA.” The event and all participating sponsors will receive mention in the event advertising that is being donated by The Dover Post.
The National MS Society’s mission is to, “mobilize people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS.” In Delaware, the chapter provides programs and services to more than 1,550 Delawareans living with MS and their loved ones. Delaware has one of the highest rates of MS in the country and women in Delaware are diagnosed with MS at a rate much higher than the national average. There is still so much we don’t know about what causes MS and how to treat it, but through events like this we are moving closer to the day when MS will stand for Mystery Solved!
