Six Lucky winners from The Noble’s Pond Carolina Model Grand Opening Sweepstakes were treated to a gourmet wine dinner prepared by Chef Jay Caputo with wine paired by Wine Ambassador, Lindsey Field from Boisset Family Estates. The evening began with Hor d’oeuvres on the deck taking advantage of the beautiful spring weather. Appetizers were an arrangement of Tiny Tuna Sesame, Duck Confit with Blood Orange, and Goat Cheese with Dried Cherries and Pistachios paired with a JCB Cremant de Bourgogne Brut 21 & Rose 69. Seated in the beautifully set dining room of The Carolina, guests were served each course perfectly paired with a selection of wine to compliment the chef’s creation. Mary Field, Vice President and Colleen Ostafy, Lifestyle Director served the dishes to the guests and were the “wait staff” for the evening’s dinner. With the serving of each course came accolades to the chef for such a delicious and surprising menu. Guests enjoyed the stories of how the wines were produced and how each winery evolved into what it is today. “Pure Decadence” is the only way to describe the warm Molten Chocolate Cake with Raspberries and Black Pepper Ice Cream that was for dessert along with a Frenchie Winery Red Blend. Before saying goodbye, guests played a game of Left, Right, Center to win the stunning center piece from the table. Each guest left the dinner with a special parting gift of the group picture in a lovely frame.
