The Noble’s Pond 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, March 5th was a huge success. We had 7 Chefs create their favorite recipes. The Chili selections were spicy, sweet and even a little bit sassy and some had secret ingredients, but all were delicious!
Upon entering the ballroom guests, residents and celebrity judges found each chef’s table set with tasty treats to compliment their chili. There were the onions, sour cream and cheese. A few even added adult beverages: Fireball, Tequila or wine to go along with their secret recipe. Once everyone had a chance to taste test each chef’s chili, they voted for their favorite. All Noble’s Pond residents and guests had an opportunity to vote, as well as the celebrity judges: Carol Horn, 2016 Harley Davidson Chili Champ, Chief Chris Workman, Cheswold Chief of Police, and Cheswold’s Mayor Tinari. Each chef received a memorable gold medal with ribbon. Art, a relatively new resident in the Noble’s Pond community, was the proud winner and received the coveted Chili Cook-Off Trophy and of course bragging rights!
The Noble’s Pond Staff would like to thank everyone for attending and to congratulate all the chefs in this fun filled competition. It was a delicious and fun afternoon here at Noble’s Pond!
